Pro seller implications.
I have not been on this site for a while so I hope I am not boring you with this subject. have just been informed that I have reached Pro Seller status and my reward? is I now have to pay almost 15% selling fees. Thanks for the incentive Ebay. I will now have to cut back my selling which is not going to do Ebay or myself any good. I have been selling on Ebay for 24 years and will be 87 in a few weeks time. I do it for a hobby to keep myself active and sell reasonably cheap as it is more about keeping me active than making money. Does anyone else have this problem and what can legally be done about it to avoid selling fees . For instance , use both mine and my wifes account and split the selling? I don't want to do anything illegal of course. I would like to hear from anyone who has had the same problem. Regards to all .

·4 months agoYour selling fees don’t change, if it has gone up to 15%, that’s what it’s always been. The pro status means you have a store, and can do variation listings plus a lot of other benefits.
Maybe go back and read the newsletter they sent out at beginning of April.

·4 months agoIt looks like you're in Australia. This is the US forum, and we have different selling requirements and restrictions than you do.
There is no Pro Seller designation here.
I don't know if there an Australia selling board or if you want to try asking on the UK board, but I doubt many people here will know how to answer your question.
