post office delivers to a post office box in wrong town
This is a first for me. Just had a buyer contact me to confirm his address as his package was showing to have been delivered to a post office box in a different town (Harrisburg) rather than his home in Chambersburg.
I sent it to the correct address so somehow, the USPS really messed this up. Besides calling the post office in Harrisburg, is there anything else to be done? My buyer was really polite in his message so I want to help him find his package. Thanks in advance.

Post Office employees can communicate directly to each other by email.

·2 years agoTracking only shows what 'zip code' something was delivered in- is that correct? (some cities have same zip for 2 neighboring cities etc.)
Anyway- no, nothing ELSE can be done- you have to contact (or the buyer should) the 'local' post office or the one in the 'other city' to find out why package was misdelivered and how it can be corrected.
