Please help with policy on shipped items
We just sold an item back in November, Shipped on time via USPS ground advantage. USPS stated it was received on December 4th. The buyer opened a request stating they did not receive the item. We immediately checked and sent them the tracking as well as the details from USPS down to the time it was delivered. We asked them to reach out to their local post office and have them investigate.
They just replied back within a day "I did check everything but still not find it."
This is a new buyer, one feedback from us.
What are our responsibilities at this point?
Please help.

You said you told him to check with his post office and he said he did. The post office has internal GPS tracking and they can see where a package was delivered. This buyer would have needed to give them the tracking number for them to check and I'm guessing he didn't do that.
As noted, since the package shows delivered, you are not responsible. But if you want to go a step further, you might mention to this buyer that he take the tracking number to his post office and have the postmaster or a manager check their internal tracking. He may be a new buyer trying to get a free item and doesn't know how to go about it but if he is a buyer who actually had his package stolen or the post office delivered it to the wrong house, he needs to know it. If it was delivered to the wrong house, the PO should follow up on it.

·9 months agoYour responsibility is to up load tracking into the item not received case and you will win.
It’s a buyers responsibility to ensure a safe location for delivery of packages from porch pirates.
