Pickup buyers 6 digit code??

Hello,want to do a

'local pickup" sale but notice directions say to use "APP" to enter buyers 6 digit code,question I have is do I need app or can i just enter on my laptop,this would be meeting somewhere in town with wifi access there.?

General reply: I wouldn't want to use my laptop for eBay activities on a public WiFi. But that's just me...

If you don't want to use the app, ask the buyer to sign a copy of the eBay order form at the time of pickup.

If you cant scan the code with pick up all you can do is go to the transaction, use the drop down menu to mark it paid.
