Hello eBay Community,

I’m seeking guidance regarding the permanent suspension of my eBay business account 28tradegroup.

I established the account for a legitimate U.S. business, 28 Trade Group LLC, while residing in Germany. The account was suspended on September 7, 2026, shortly after being created and before I had meaningfully started selling.

eBay’s suspension notice stated that recent account activity had raised serious security concerns and that the activity was considered a risk to the eBay community. A subsequent response from eBay referred to a “pattern of activities” presenting a risk to the marketplace, but I was not given a specific transaction, listing, policy violation, or other activity that caused the suspension. I also did not receive a prior warning.

I do have an older private eBay account, and I understand that the relationship between that account and the newly established business account may be relevant to eBay’s security assessment. I am willing to provide appropriate clarification and verification regarding the ownership, business structure, and relationship between the accounts.

I have already appealed through eBay, but the appeal was denied. I have also pursued external escalation because I would like the underlying concern to be properly understood and reviewed.

I am not asking the community to disclose any private account information or override eBay’s security procedures. I would simply appreciate guidance on the appropriate way to obtain a meaningful review of this type of MC999 suspension and whether there is any additional verification or documentation I should provide.

If an eBay representative or experienced community member can point me toward the correct review process, I would greatly appreciate it.

The problem is obvious. Just look at your profile. https://community.ebay.com/u/mb9fhk/#/discussions

You keep registering accounts, even though you have multiple accounts that have been permanently suspended. It is against eBay policy to do that. You have 8 suspended accounts so far (and counting?), plus this one, in the past 2 months.

You can expect that any other new accounts that are associated with any of your accounts will also be suspended.

There is no one here who can help you. We are just buyers and sellers and we have no authority to do anything.

If you appealed the decision and eBay denied the appeal, then there is no point in pursuing it any further. You will not be given another review. Your days at eBay are over.

And you never will be given anything specific.

The goal of eBay's risk management algorithm is to detect accounts that are statistically likely to cause future problems, not to identify past problems after they happen.

If eBay decides that your account indicates a likelihood of future issues, they want to get rid of that account before that happens, not afterward.
