Permanent MC011 Suspension After 3 Years of Selling — Requesting a Fair Review
Summary: getorium is seeking guidance from the eBay community regarding a permanent account suspension following an MC011 restriction. They express their frustration and concern, as they have been selling on eBay for three years and own a registered brand. getorium is willing to provide documentation to prove the legitimacy of their business and is requesting eBay to conduct a manual review and clarify the reasons behind the suspension. Responses suggest skepticism about account reinstatement, noting that eBay's decisions are usually final, although one participant advises contacting a department supervisor for further assistance.
Hello eBay Community,
I am posting this because I genuinely need guidance and, if possible, a fair second review of my account suspension.
I have been selling on eBay for approximately 3 years and have invested significant time and resources into building my business on the platform. I am not a new seller attempting to create a temporary account or avoid eBay policies. I operate a legitimate business and am also the owner of a registered brand.
Recently, my account was permanently suspended following an MC011 restriction. I fully understand that eBay has the right to protect buyers, sellers, and the integrity of its marketplace. However, I am asking eBay to reconsider the decision based on the complete circumstances of my account rather than treating the suspension as the end of the discussion.
I am willing to provide any documentation necessary to establish the legitimacy of my business, including:
• Proof of brand ownership/registration
• Supplier and purchase documentation
• Invoices and receipts
• Product authenticity documentation
• Business information
• Shipping and tracking records
• Any other documents eBay requires
I also want to make clear that I am not asking eBay to ignore its policies. If there was a specific policy violation or concern that resulted in the MC011 restriction, I would like the opportunity to understand exactly what caused it and demonstrate how I have addressed it.
After operating for three years, losing the account permanently has a major impact on my business. I believe a seller with an established history should at least have an opportunity for a manual, evidence-based review, particularly when the seller is willing to cooperate and provide documentation.
Therefore, I respectfully request that eBay:
Conduct a manual review of my account and selling history.
Clearly identify the specific issue(s) that resulted in the permanent suspension, to the extent eBay policy permits.
Review the documentation I can provide regarding my registered brand and legitimate business operations.
Consider reinstatement if I can demonstrate compliance and resolve the concerns that resulted in MC011.
I respect eBay's marketplace policies and understand that maintaining trust and safety is important. I am simply asking for a fair opportunity to demonstrate that my business is legitimate and that I am willing to comply with eBay's requirements going forward.
Three years of selling history should not be reduced to a single suspension decision without considering the complete picture.
If anyone has successfully obtained a meaningful review of a permanent MC011 suspension, particularly as an established brand owner, I would sincerely appreciate advice on the correct escalation/appeal route.
I am prepared to cooperate fully and provide whatever evidence eBay requires. I am asking for a review—not an exception to the rules.

This board is made up of buyers and sellers like yourself. We are here to give advice or offer solutions to problems but no ne here has any authority to do anything about reinstating your account. No one from eBay is going to see your letter here.
With that said, it is my understanding that once an account has been suspended, it will not be reinstated. You can try but don't be expecting a reversal. Usually when they say permanent, that's what they mean.

·1 week agoGood luck with that... you'll need to call and insist on speaking with a Trust and Safety department supervisor. They will toy with you though and 'transfer' you to a dept supervisor, but they are not the supervisor. You should ask explicitly if they are the department supervisor and remind them they are being recorded. Also, don't bother calling weekend or evenings.. nobody with any authority works in those hours.
