Payments Not Going Through to Bank Account
Are any other sellers out there not getting paid by eBay like I am? Ebay wanted my bank account number so I very reluctantly gave it to them. Payments went through for a while. But starting in August, none of the payments that I should have collected have gone through. There is no phone support from eBay. If you call the listed customer no-support numbers, you are cast into a maze of recordings. So, I'm basically selling goods for free, and eBay doesn't care - they are sure to deduct their fees from my sales. I have tripled checked by account information and my banking info in account settings is correct. If anyone else has been in my unfortunate position, please respond and tell me how the payment situation got corrected.

·1 year agoAccording to the eBay records, in the last 90 days you have sold 1 item and that was on Aug. 4, 2025. eBay views that as an infrequent buyer..
Kickback and read the eBay policy on payouts. This is not a new policy - like 5 years old. If you have quests post it on this site for a clarification

·1 year agoThere's nothing special or terribly secret about your bank account number; it's printed on every check you've ever written (if you're old enough to remember those).
As others have said, check your payment summary (https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin/summary) and see if the funds are shown there.

OP1 year agoIt has read, "Funds sent" since Monday.

·1 year agoThis would seem to indicate that it is not a "hold" because you are a "new or infrequent seller" situation.

I'm with @bonjourami... I think it's because of your lapse in selling. See if you're here somewhere. >> Payments on hold | eBay

Not sure where you are finding a # to call, but stop doing so. A # you find online, if you get through will likely result in talking to a scammer.
Use help and contact for a call back, or to chat, but your best source for assistance is to contact eBay on facebook for USA based CS.

What does your Payments Summary say has been going on?

OP1 year agoOK, I followed that link and it reads, "Funds sent. ...usually takes 1-3 days..." It won't copy and paste for some reason, but that's basically what it says. Maybe my hiatus has caused this.

·1 year agoRead the link on reply 9 of 13. Payment can be as long as 30 days for an infrequent seller which you are qualified for.
BTW you have 10 unsold listens - why wait and list more - no cost until it sells - UNLESS YOU SIGN UP FOR OPTIONAL FEATURE. Hopefully you will sell more things while your are wait to get paaid up to 30 days for that 1 sales just 2 days ago..
Your Call
Hint the more you sell with a good monthly report cards from eBay the shorter you payment wait time will be - its all up to you..

·1 year agoLooks like other than your two sales in August you havent sold anything for quite a while. Is that correct? New and infrequent sellers will have their funds held for up to thirty days.

OP1 year agoI'm a frequent buyer, but as a seller, I've had a big lapse. This is like my comeback from it. I have about 100 more items to sell, but I'm holding off until I get the payment situation squared away.

·1 year agoEbay has had a rule for many years that pertains to New Seller and sellers that have been away from selling for 90+ days. The following is the policy that outlines why you money is likely on hold.

On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.
I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.
https://twitter.com/askebay
https://www.facebook.com/ebay
https://www.instagram.com/ebayforsellers/
Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

·1 year agoHave you contacted your bank to see if there a reason the payments are not going through?
Is it a checking account through a real bank?
Is it a BOA bank?

OP1 year agoI have logged in online. Yes, it's a total legit bank. I'm using my checking account. I'm going to contact my bank tomorrow.
