Payment Put Hold , Buyer Received Item, Tracking Stuck at "Shipped"
Hi all,
I have a buyer who bought an ite. I printed and slapped on the shipping label, packed the item, and dropped it off at my local usps post office.
For the next two weeks, my item was stuck on "PRE-SHIPMENT INFO SENT USPS AWAITS ITEM." I contacted my buyer asking her if her item was delivered. My buyer said that she got the item. I'm aware that sometimes packages in usps can be "lost track of" and that you just simply know if they got delivered or not.
Currently, the money/funds I was paid is "put on hold." To my knowledge, payouts are completed once the tracking says the item is delivered. But since my item was not properly tracked, how do I let eBay know that the package was delivered? Is it done on my buyer's end perhaps? It's been about a week since my buyer told me she received the item. From the looks of it, my funds look like they could be put on hold forever.
Any help would be much appreciated.

·4 years agoIf the buyer messaged you through Ebay that the item was delivered then you can contact Ebay and they will be able to see the message and maybe, just maybe, they will release the funds earlier rather than later.

·1 year agoI'm having this same problem, a few of my other items sold no problem. For 1 item the tracking didn't update with the delivery. I messaged the buyer, no response. I have screenshots that it delivered, but didn't update.
But according to Google I have to wait 3 business days before I can report the issue.
I was also informed that the buyer can simply state that they did not receive the item, and eBay would side with the buyer even if I have proof of delivery.
I'm brand new to eBay, & this was the 1st item of 5 that I've sold. Is this a regular thing? Do sellers just get the Dirt end of the stick all around?

·1 year agoI have the same problem. My tracking is still at shipped on eBay while my buyer has received, liked and positively feedbacked my item. I think the funds are released after the maximum amount of time in this case, at around 30 days without tracking updates. I do not think you should worry.
