Package is DELIVERED but eBay system cannot update the latest data from Speedex courier
Hi,
I sent a package to Greece via Speedex, the tracking of Speedex is entered into eBay but the eBay system is not able to update the latest data - the status is DELIVERED but eBay shows IN TRANZIT. The package has been delivered already more than 2 weeks, there is just some software problem (maybe the Greek language plays a role). How can I ask eBay to manually check the current status please?

·1 month ago · EditedSpeedX is the worst thing to happen to eBay...Ever! Come on people, let's protest more. Let's just try to be a little less lazy, with the hope that a little bit of diligent complaining may finally get these people the run eBay to give us a good delivery system. Like we had for years, before they decided to just join the 'we don't give a crap, we're gonna make all the money while we can, and every one of our customers. Do better, eBay. Complain more, humans. My god, the lack of complaints about this company to this point is ridiculous, considering how TERRIBLE they are. Ten years ago, this kind of service wouldn't stand. I honestly feel like I'm currently responsible for more than half the total complaints about SpeedX at the moment. Let's get our site back. COMPLAIN!

·1 year agoI have similar issue i sent a package to the US via SpeedX, on the website it shows delivered and the customer confirms he has gotten the package over 2 weeks ago, but its not updating on the ebay website... The main issue here is that i'm new to ebay, hence my funds are still on hold awaiting delivery of the item... Please is there any way i can contact ebay to rectify this issue, as the payment is still on hold by ebay

OP1 year agoYou have to contact eBay support and they check it manually. I solved this issue with them.

OP1 year agoCan I talk to someone from eBay support please? I know that they get the info automaticky via API but there is some sofware problem because they do not update the latest data. It it delivered, the Speedex courier shows a status Delivered on its tracking website but eBay is still in "ON THE WAY" status and that is wrong.

·1 year agoWhat does it matter? You know it's delivered, the buyer must know it was delivered. Is there a claim/request in play for this order?

·1 year agoeBay does not directly verify tracking information with the shipper themselves, but they do access tracking data through the carrier's API to confirm if the tracking number provided by the seller is valid and reflects the shipment's status, essentially checking the tracking information through the shipper's system without directly contacting them manually.
