·1 year agoAll you need to do is post the tracking # to the case that the buyer opened.

You should end up being fine. You should be covered under Seller Protection if you 1. Shipped within your stated handling time. 2. If you didn't purchase your shipping label in Ebay, you need to upload tracking right away on the transaction. 3. If the order is for $750 or more, you need to require a signature confirmation on the delivery.
Since your tracking shows delivered and if you followed the rules I stated above, the buyer will NOT be able to win the INR they filed. Do make sure you upload the tracking number to the INR. I know that seems redundant, but that is what Ebay requires now.
You may want to reach out to your buyer and let them know that tracking shows the item was delivered. Suggest they check with others in their household and maybe neighbors to see if they have seen the package. I always email the buyer and I also suggest that they talk with their carrier to see if they remember the package, as they often will.

·1 year agoAs long as you responded the INR and uploaded the tracking number, there is nothing left for you to do. Do not reach out to the buyer.

Respond to the INR case and upload the tracking number showing it was delivered.

Did you see the tracking number already populated? Does the case history state you uploaded tracking? I know it seems ridiculous but if the case history does not state you uploaded tracking, upload the tracking even though it is showing.
The buyer has a few days before they can escalate the case to eBay, if that tracking number has a delivery scan to their zipcode (might only need the first three numbers, I cannot recall) then it's delivered as far as eBay is concerned. Should the buyer escalate the case to eBay, they would find in your favor because of the delivery scan and should remove any negative feedback you might get for that transaction.

·1 year agoEven if the tracking number shows on the order, you MUST respond to the case and input the tracking number into the INR (item not received) case.

·1 year agoDo nothing - as long as eBay can see the tracking number attached to the case. Your buyers claim should be closed.

·1 year agoThe seller does need to respond to the INR by putting in the tracking number at a minimum. As far as contacting the seller, that is for each seller to decide for themselves. I do contact my buyer and let them know they should contact the PO / Carrier as well as check with neighbors to see if they got the package.
