Oxygen Canala Tubing being sold on eBay ????
I see hundreds of listings for Salter Labs REF-1600-7 Oxygen Canala Tubing. I have many new unopened packages to sell. So I go to one of the listings from one of the medical supply company who has sold hundreds of them here on eBay and are still selling them like many, many others here on ebay.. I scroll down to "Sell Similar" button and list my exact item for sale. Ebay sends me notice that they have pulled my listing because of medical device policy.
So why do these other people( hundreds of them ) get to sell their exact same item and my listing gets banned. Is it just because I'm a small seller?

·5 years agoYou may simply have formatted your listing incorrectly.
A) You can't sell any medical item that requires a prescription. However, these tubes do not require a prescription, so this shouldn't be the issue.
B) You can't sell medical items after their expiration or best used by date. You must also state this date in your listing, when there is one. And believe it or not Cannula tubes do have an expiration date. So yours could be expired, or you didn't follow policy and list their expiration date.
C) If the FDA has restricted the item, there is only one category on E-Bay where it is allowed to be listed. Don't think that is the case here either.

·10 months agoBelieve it or not some tubes are Rx (prescription) only. Look on the packaging insert they probably have a Rx symbol along with the manufacture and expiration date. I couldn't list my from Salter Labs because of the Rx symbol.
