Go to My eBay Shipping Labels > Track and manage your shipments

Click the down arrow on Actions and select Cancel Label

I understand why you are upset with Ebay, however Ebay did not make the mistake. Sometimes we just need to slow down a bit. You had a chance to see that the rate was more than you thought you'd have to pay BEFORE you paid it. But you submitted it and agreed to purchase it BEFORE discovering what you may have entered incorrectly.

It is the Carrier that doesn't allow for the immediate refund on the purchase of a shipping label. They want to be sure that the label does not get used. Ebay has absolutely ZERO control over this.

Now if you want to come back and calmly tell us about what you are trying to ship, we can help advise you of the best approach to accomplishing shipping the item so you don't get in trouble with Ebay and possibly your buyer for a late shipment.

After you void a shipping label, it takes a couple weeks for the refund to be approved and paid by the USPS. That delay is due the USPS, not eBay. (I suspect the USPS wanbts to make sur ethe label does not get used after is was voided).

What exactly happens when you try to void the label on eBay?
