One of the ways eBay has ruined search - promoting refurbished irrelevant results
I was doing a search on Dell 3070 computers to see what I should price mine at on CL. Searched this specific set of words: Dell 3070 i5 1tb
Results contain many Dell 3070 computers with i5 and 1TB SSD, but also quite a few results that are not Dell 3070s. They all have one thing in common - eBay Refurbished. So eBay wants people to consider their refurbished nonsense when searching something different.
Just pointing out one of the ways eBay tampers with search to benefit eBay and certain sellers while disregarding the thing someone was specifically searching for.

Some buyers place value on their time.
Time once spent can't be recovered.
One complaint voiced is search also yields results that are a waste of a buyer's time.
Ebay needs to improve item search

·3 years agoI am here reading these comment because I can't search items tonight, Just a spinning
icon in the top box and page never loads. Looks like I purchase nothing or bid on nothing
tonight.
