On a funnier side
I just happen to go through all of my bins verifying inventory and guess what I found 18 pair of blue jeans not listed. How did this happen? Well, it's called being an idiot. I have to sit back and laugh. Now I have to spend time listing these items. Another bone headed move on my part. It never ends.

·3 years agoBack in a previous incarnation, when I had a warehouse. I used to find stuff like that ALL THE TIME. I would miss an entire shelf. Never figured out how or why. Now I sort everything within 24 hours of getting it. I do not have anywhere near as much space as I had back then.

·3 years agoYup - know the feeling. I have had a few forehead thumps that once it happens you swear you will do everything possible to avoid a repeat: 1) listed but can't find it despite turning the "eBay room" upside down. 2) Mixing up orders - that sinking feeling when a customer sends you a message, " Hi there is there a reason I received a crystal dragon brooch rather than the shower curtain I ordered" ugh..... the only upside is the instant motivation to maintain a strict inventory and order packing system. I wish I could blame it all on evil gremlins ....sadly it's all on me LOL.

·3 years agoIt's possible you did list them and that they went unsold for long enough that eBay removed the listings without telling you.
A lot of my items are long tail, and I have seen this happen.
Before we retired and moved to BC, I kept my book stock in 10 bookcases, alphabetically by author.
When we were packing, I went through the cases, shelf by shelf looking for keepers which would come with us and donations.
What I found was of the 2000+ books on the shelves, only about 1000 were still listed.
Note that some had been there since 2001, and this was 2014.

OP3 years agoNo, these were never listed I figured out that I picked the wrong pile up and put them into one of the wrong storage bins. Even more of a dumb move LOL. Wow on the books.
