Old, old account
Greetings,
I haven't sold anything on ebay for maybe 15-20 years. I used to have a different account (I think my account name was not an email address). It had a long record of sales that I'd like to reconnect my account to. But I can't seem to find it. I think I know what the username was, but it doesn't recognize it at login, nor does it come up in a user search.
Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

OP1 year agoThank you, all. It sounds like getting it back doesn't add any value, so I'll stop trying. Thanks again!

·1 year agoFYI, about 10 years ago eBay increased the security requirements for password characters, giving several months' notice, and accounts that didn't update their passwords to meet the new requirements were closed.

·1 year agoIf you haven't logged into your account for 15 - 20 years it may have been deprecated.
FYI - You history of sales from 15 - 20 years ago are meaningless to eBay, anyone who hasn't sold for that length of time (or even 1 or 2 years) will be treated as a new seller in terms of selling limits or payment holds.
For sure if you can't remember the exact username that you used there is no way to get back into that account.
Accounts that have been dormant for a while are usually deleted by eBay.
