Offers On Items Recently Deemphasized In Mobile App
Summary: sonomaresale discusses the issue of offer notifications being deemphasized in a mobile app, as they no longer appear in messages. They note that if a mobile notification is dismissed, it becomes difficult to locate the offer again, especially among a large number of offers. They suggest improvements such as adding a notification indicator on the app's interface for easier access, contrasting this with the desktop version where offers are easily found under the regular notification bell.
In the mobile app, offer notifications seemed to be deemphasized because they are no longer put into ebay messages. If you dismiss the mobile notification, it can be difficult to find the offer again, especially if you have a ton of offers and don't want to scroll through that top gallery. They appear on the home page but the only way to see them in a list in the mobile app appears to be "My eBay > Bids & offers"
Shouldn't there be an icon on the bottom row with a notification indicator? Or like a notification indication on the "My eBay" icon on the bottom row at least?
I'm less concerned for regular desktop web browser users because they get the offers under the regular notification bell in the top right.
