Offers Hanging Up
I rarely use offers, but decided a couple of days ago that instead of starting a new sale, I would leave everything at full price and turn offers on for all of my listings. I don't like offers, I also believing in changing things up from time to time just to tap into a different buyer market and get things in front of a different set of eyes.
Everything was fine until last night. I accepted an offer and everything looked normal when I did. Then, I noticed I had another red 1 indicating I had a new offer. I clicked and nothing was there. I assumed eBay was needing to play catch up, so didn't think too much about it. Then, today, I had 4 offers when I got up, but only 3 were visible. Two were low ballers that I declined. The other one was close to where I wanted to be. I messaged the buyer and asked if they would agree on X, and they quickly responded they would. I sent the counteroffer and got an email they accepted it. They also messaged me they had accepted it.
Now, here we are on the eve of when I need to ship out these orders, and neither one appear in my sold list. I looked earlier in my active listings and both items appeared there. I reached out to both buyers to ask if it shows on their end that they bought them, but have not heard back. I decided I would try to end the active listings for those two items. I did, but my active number did not change. I relisted, and my active number still did not change.
Another bizarre thing is that on one if the listings there was a big red banner at the top that said there was an issue with my photos. There was a link. When I clicked on it, I got this message:
I've never seen that before. I didn't see anything wrong with my photos, but I initially thought it did not matter since the person accepted the offer for the item. Now I am really confused about what is going on.
I know eBay was rolling out the feature that required buyers to supply payment information when they make an offer. I require immediate payment. In the past when I've used offers there has always been a message that I cannot require immediate payment when a buyer sends an offer. When I used the bulk editor to turn offers on this time, I did not get that message.
Has anybody had any issues with offers? Does anybody know if eBay is still rolling out the requirement for immediate payment when an offer is made? Am I just going crazy? (Don't answer that last one.)

·11 months agoThe red banner is a tech issue happening to most of the sellers, should be gone in 24hr. It does not affect your visibility to buyers or the way they buy/make offers. That banner is only visible for you, there is nothing to worry about, it is being taken care of.
