offers, acceptances, counter offers, broken deals due to a counter offer and regret
So, I received an offer on a product, and i issid a counter-offer, which in turn was rejected by potential buyer. I regret the counter=offer, mainly because I needed that sale badly and now feel that I was being greedy; hence, no sale at all. First off, is it ok to reverse course here and accept the offer. If so, how do i do this?

You appear to be a new seller. Are you familiar with eBay's Money Back Guarantee?
You are selling that freezer as freight shipping and as no returns. You can put no returns on a listing but because of eBay's MBG, you cannot refuse refunds. (This is true on any listing.) If someone buys that refrigerator and you ship it to them and they get it and file a claim as "not as described", you either have to pay to have the item shipped back to you and issue a refund upon your receipt or just issue a refund and let them keep the item. If you do not do this, the buyer can ask eBay to step in and eBay will force a refund from you and probably let them keep the item. (You are really better off selling something big like this locally for cash.)
Also, you have absolutely no description of the freezer such as defects, dents, flaws, does it work okay, size, uses for it, or anything about it. Photos are good but they do not tell the whole story. Buyers need to know what they are buying. Descriptions need to be in your own words. AI descriptions are useless, flowery word salad that don't say anything about the actual item.
I don't sell car parts so am not familiar with return rules for those but I know they are different from most other categories. You might want to check this out.

·6 months agoWas this an offer where you can see their ID? If so, I'd send a nice email and let them know you will accept their offer now and revise the listing if they still want it.

·6 months agoYou were not necessarily being greedy, But customers have been wanting everything as cheap as possible, Never compromise your profit margin too much or you may regret it.

·6 months agoNo way to contact that buyer...........but you could reduce the price on the listing to his offer and he might see it and buy it (or someone else might)......

·6 months agoNope. Once you make a counter offer you are no longer in the driver's seat.
