"offer items" unable to complete transaction
hi, we send a lot of offers to interested parties, they make a counter offer, we accept. they cannot finish , the message they receive is "need shipping to complete" . i am blocked from doing anything to correct this problem. I have tried many ways. as a result of this ebay issue I have lost many sales. Ebay , you need to FIX this problem.

·2 years agoWhat is an example of an item and where is your buyer located? You are using the EIS program if this buyer is international there is a chance that it may not be shippable through EIS and you have no other international shipping options identified. Either that or the system does not understand how to incorporate the EIS shipping leg into the offer so the buyer can pay the correct amount.

In that case your items seem to be split between free shipping and freight. Are the ones with free shipping by chance working and the ones that are having issues are those where you have freight specified?

·2 years agoI fully agree with your statement. We've had the same thing happen time and time again and only with offers. Say someone will get a $12.99 offer for a $15 item. They send a message saying will you take $11.99? Of course we will but the button that you usually send and offer back to the customer has a big red error message saying you can't send them the offer. ( sorry can't remember what it acctually says) I realize you can create a seperate listing for them but it is such a wast of time. It would be nice to be able to send back a counter offer in Offers. Hope Ebay can fix this or if someone knows of a fix in settings. I've tried everything too.

·2 years agoTry clearing your cookies and cache. If using a mobile device use a browser instead of the app. If using a PC then make sure your browser is upto date,and try a different browser for ebay like chrome or firefox. If nothing works then it could be site issue,one of many!
