Offer expiration

Went back and forth with a buyer yesterday over a â€œ best offerâ€. They sent me a counter offer which was valid for ONE HOUR. I saw before it expired, but that is not likely to be the case every time.

Iâ€™ve NEVER not had at least 24 hours to consider an offer or counter-offer.

Anyone know how this person arranged this?? Iâ€™ve certainly not seen this as some sort of option when Iâ€™ve SENT an offer.

I believe @itscalledapostingid is correct.

I just tried to make an offer on something.

It told me the seller has 24 hours to respond.

Sounds like the listing was ending in one hour. If it was a BIN it would have been coming up on the end of the month and automatically relisting/renewing in one hour.
