You can't be Elizabeth Jones in one and Liz Jones in another. We do NOT want to hear that you do not think that it's secure to give ebay what they need to verify who you are and to keep ebay safe. Please be aware that ebay will hold your funds for up to a month. This is done to make sure that the buyer is completely happy with the purchase and if there is a problem, then Ebay can refund with YOUR money and not theirs. Do not take this personal. It does not matter what you did or sold in the past. Infrequent sellers and new sellers are treated the same.
Be aware of the shipping surcharges on the bigger packages. Make sure that you have a good scale and a measuring tape. Goodluck.
OP has at lest 20 feedback as a seller in the past 12 months, so surely they're up to speed with managed payments. Their "haven't listed in a long time" is somewhat misleading.
Here are the Basic help pages about eBay fees, including how many free insertions you get per month. (It's 250 for sellers who have no store subscription, or a "Starter" store.) As noted, sellers have listing limits which might block them from using up their full allocation of free listings.

You will need your SSN plus a checking account.
The account could be with a no/low fee online bank if you want to keep your selling income separate from your household finances.
You may be required to add secondary identification, like a driving license or a passport.
This is to prevent hijacking of existing accounts.
And as mentioned, there will be a Hold.
Don't sell anything expensive at first. High value/high fraud items either get Held longer or kickstart further inquiries from annoying bots.

A combination of "fixed price" GTC listings, and auctions.
