Noticed of dispute
so long story short i sold a car door for 800 dollars because of the weight and size it goes freight. i used a freight line as listing was advertise and was one carrier aproved by ebay but it was a delay on the carrier end wich is out of my control and explained to customer support both on gje phone and by email but ebay refunded de buyer and now buyer has both the door and the money.
ebay telling me that i need send an invoice to buyer but i have sent 12 message and not reply and also ebay marked me a case closed without seller resolution and downgraded me from top rated seller to below standar even thou all cases are cases when buyers scammed me and sent a different item on return so how in the world or on ebay policies says that seller asking for help is to get marked as closed without seller resolutions..

·1 year agoIf you live close enough, you can file a small claims court case against the buyer. I have seen lots of eBay cases on televised judge shows. On the judge shows, the seller almost always wins in a case like this, especially if you have proof of delivery.

You hired the carrier to deliver the item on your behalf, so the responsibility is yours.
explained to customer support both on the phone and by email
Explaining the problem to eBay does not resolve the customer's dispute.
eBay refunded the buyer and now buyer has both the door and the money.
That is the risk you take when selling on eBay.

eBay's "Item Not Received" policy says that you need delivery confirmation within a specific time frame in order to will the "Item Not Received" dispute. You did not have that, so you lost the dispute.
What is the "dispute" you plan to file with eBay? What part of their policy did they failed to follow?

·1 year agoAs a seller, you should use a freight service that you have researched and trust, not one eBay recommends. Freight carriers stink. Ever since UPS Freight went out of business, finding a reliable freight company for anything is a nightmare. You never know what service you will get. As for getting your money or door back, eBay cannot help you. A small claims court is your only option.

·1 year agoHa! eBay as has been repeated here time and time again rarely does what it promises when it comes to seller protection.

·1 year agoSince you chose the shipping carrier as a seller you are responsible for the delay.
I understand that its not really in your control but the seller is responsible for getting the item to the buyer on time and as listed.
Once eBay refunds the buyer there is no way to get the buyer to pay you through eBay.
If the buyer is honest they can send you the payment through PayPal but no one can make them pay.
eBay Policy is if the seller asks eBay to step in OR doesnt resolve the case on their own, the seller gets a non-resolution ding and pays the FVF.
What sort of "dispute" are you thinking of filing?
