Nothing is selling
I have tried everything and I am at my wits end. I am even paying to use ebay. Cause they said your items will sell well NOPE, they don't. I run sales and put new items up, adjust my prices and nothing I just can't get a brake. I used to be on Etsy but hated paying for every item to be put on there. And they also got striker.What am I doimg wrong. Any ideas....

·1 year agoAdjust your prices to factor in free shipping. It helps a lot on the type of items you sell.

·1 year agoFree Shipping is not the magic bullet. It works great in some categories and not so much in others. Especially in categories where the buyer might purchase multiple item from different listings.

You say the shirts are gray in the item specifics but show black shirts
You mention different sizes but then don't have a way to choose a size, you need to make a variation listing
You say the material is Christmas? what does that even mean?
You say it was manufactured between 2020-2029....this is only 2025.
Also a lot of your shirts say they are the theme of Autism and they literally have nothing to do with autism
Your listings are a mess, you need to make the shirt listings variations, make your titles better, check item specifics/descriptions...etc

·1 year agoYour items, as attractive as they are, have some fundamental handicaps in selling online.
They will sell based on their visual appeal.
That is a problem because on a large site like Ebay, there are many competitive items which will be displayed on a broad search term and there is no obvious narrow term that people will use to find your listing.
This means that when you have an impression as the result of a search, the thumbnail shown on the search needs to be clear and uncluttered.
Your choice of backgrounds on your main images for the tumblers works against your best interests to get a click through.
Your T-shirts include some which are not very different than the competition and are not more or less appealing than the competition.
Your product name/item title is as other said inadequate.
You have a couple of trademark infringements which could create problems for you.

·1 year agoI just sold an item within 1min of listing. So folks are still out there.
But reason i sold its cause I forgot to change the price of the item when I did sell similar and my $25 item sold for $12. Just means people are very, very price sensitive these days.

·1 year agofunfactorychanel that is so true. I just started selling on Ebay a few weeks ago and have sold 41 items. On the posters listings I think it would be better to take all of these suggestions being made to make these listings. When I first looked at the posters listings I did think it was for three tumblers. I can see how someone would think they were getting three instead of one. Also, personally I think it would be much nicer to put a picture of the item without all of the background colors, just a plain white background, and then add photos of the item in different variations after the main photo. The backgrounds used seem to take away from the item.

I kinda did, too. For $18 + $6.45 + sales tax, I can get three of them (in-hand and out the door) at Pop Shelf. ðŸ˜

·1 year agoI wanted to caution about showing 3 tumblers in your photos. EBAY says whatever is shown in photos is what customers will get (3 tumblers).
When selling clothing with different sizes you need to create a new listing with variations (has menu where customer can select the size they want). Also I would put S, M, L, XL on the title line.

·1 year agoNo they don't. Where did you get that from. So if a swimsuit is being sold and a model is wearing it in the picture, you expect to get the model too? Of course not.
Or I sell a lot of patterns, sometimes dolls are shown in the pics and sometimes people. The buyer doesn't get all that with the purchase, the get what I describe in the title and listing.
Now still I think your general comment is a good one. That three in one pic would be better as one of the extra pics, not the main pic. I agree that should just be of the ONE tumbler. We all have up to 25 free pics now, so there is all kinds of space to show all sides of a product. I think you are absolutely correct.

Please don't get discouraged by the posts. Everyone is just trying to help you. So PLEASE don't feel insulted or slighted, that is NOT what anyone is trying to do.
Crisp clean pictures and targeted titles are critical for success. You need to think by a buyer when you create your title and use words that a buyer might search by to find your listing.
For example: The Motherhood Tour
What is it? A bag, purse, tumbler, Tshirt, etc. No one knows.
What color? Pink, green, orange, etc. No one knows.
What size? Men's, Women's, small, large, etc. No one knows.
In the ISBs [item specific boxes] you say the Material is Christmas. What does that mean? In the color you say Gray, but the picture clearly shows Black. So you need to either change the ISB or change the picture to be the actual shirt you are selling.
For this listing, in the description you also say it is gray, which again doesn't match the picture. You also said "It is made of Christmas material and was manufactured in the United States between 2020-2029." We are only in 2025, so saying it WAS created in these years isn't accurate either, not to mention I still don't know what Christmas material is. That just could be my lack of knowledge and it is a real thing.
Are you using AI for your descriptions? If so, you may consider doing your own.
Are you Drop Shipping? If so, remember that the product location is NOT your personal location, but the City and state it will ship FROM.

·1 year agoCouple years ago my next door neighbor got all the stuff to print on shirts and whatever.
Got into making tumblers.
We have an event in my little town once a year. Fire dept sponsors it to raise money. They rent booths for vendors. Arts and Crafts and stuff.
She rented a booth to sell tumblers.
Ten vendors there and four of them were selling tumblers...or trying to sell tumblers.
It's one of those things EVERYBODY got into a few years back

·1 year agoPeople want to know what brand tumbler is under your designs. If I'm going to pay $18 plus shipping for a tumbler I'll want a recognized brand.

·1 year agoYour titles are horrible and not searchable.
The black T shirts are Black T Shirts first- what they say on them is typically NOT what a buyer will search for.
STOP with all the / between words- it makes your titles 'unsearchable' as there are no 'breaks'. Welder/ for the welder in your life/ tumbler/ 20oz Sublimation tumbler is a perfect example.
It's a 'TUMBLER' first, then 'what it says, how many ounces is it etc.
Besides all that, you are a new seller with basically no feedback so buyers may be weary buying from you, you'll just have to be 'patient' with that.

There are no sizes in the titles for your shirts no one wants to scroll through the description to find out what size it is or what sex they are for not all tee shirts are unisex.
You also need to create variation listings for shirts of different sizes. Why do you have so many different sizes? Do you have them in your possession or are you drop shipping?
