Not sure what to do
Buyer paid for item this morning, I shipped it like an hour later. Now, late tonight issues a return saying they changed their mind. "After looking at the description and the pictures further after I had paid I determined that this wasn’t what I wanted anymore. Did not need everything that came with this bundle." This was a pricey item (Steam Deck) I really do not want to be out of my item and have to refund. Do I intercept the package? Do I wait till they get the item and hope they actually return the item? I haven't sold much on ebay and to do refunds before but.. asking for a return the same day the item was shipped is new to me. Appreciate any help

·3 years agoUnfortunately, buyers can change their minds at any time. I would recommend just let the item get delivered & then let the buyer go through the return process. If you receive the item, then issue the refund.

OP3 years agoWell... now the buyer closed the return before I messaged them or anything.

·3 years agoThey either decided to keep it or noticed you don't accept returns, so they closed the return and they'll go to their payment source and do a charge back.
Try contacting the buyer and see what you can find out.
If they don't want it, try having it intercepted and returned, then refund.
