Not paid listing can’t cancel
I had a listing sold in June that the buyer could not pay, I waited a bit to see if he eventually could.
He stop replying so I relisted the item, but the original listing did not got canceled, now I sold it and paid for. But the first listing still says waiting payment and I can not cancel it now.
How do I get rid of this listing, impossible to contact ebay, just in infinite loop with ai and articles

·1 month ago · EditedeBay used to have an option requiring buyers to pay immediately. I believe that option has changed a bit, but make sure you review your payment preferences and select the appropriate settings to help prevent this from happening.
*Automatically cancel unpaid items
https://www.ebay.com/Cancel/Preference/UnpaidPurchase
Also enable under "Managing who can buy from you" Buyer rules, select.
*Require buyers to provide a payment method before they place a bid
*Require all buyers to provide a payment method before they make an offer https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/buyerrequirements
Also, make sure to set your Buyer Requirements to control which buyers can purchase from you. As you sell more and your store grows, it becomes very important to use these preferences to help reduce potential problems and protect your business.

·1 month agoBecause you waited so long is why you can cancel it. The good news is since the buyer never paid, you did not have any fees with Ebay.

·1 month agoYou've waited too long to be able to cancel it. I think you might get up to 90 days to do that, but maybe less. The only thing you can do now is Archive it (should be an option in the dropdown menu) to get it out of your Awaiting Payment list.

·1 month agoThanks for the confirmation/correction! Even more definitely outside of that window, then.
