Not a fan of buyer/seller policies.

I've been an ebay seller for a long time, and from the beginning till now all ebay ever seems to do is put policies in place to protect the buyer and leave us waiting for our payouts (now even longer if you dont sell consistently) and even longer still with card authenticating. Am i the only one who feels this way? Because i been waiting 2 weeks on a 40 dollar payout and im pissed because i have zero income. I get their are alot of scam sellers etc. But we verified sellers with 100% positive feedback shouldnt have to suffer this too, imo.

When a seller 'seldomly' sells, it could be a thief that accessed your account and would steal buyers blind if this system were not in place.
By the way, the 'system' 20 years ago was
Buyers too bad so sad you get nothing and have no one and no way to do anything if a seller simply ships you a rock or doesn't ship you anything at all.
Was a thieves paradise in the late 1990s'/early 2000's.

As an inactive seller you are required to wait 30 days or more for your payout to be complete. That way if the buyer has an issue Ebay can have the funds to hold to complete a refund. If you were more active then you will be more established as a business. You made a comment about zero income. That is part of the reason why there is a hold. Your 100% feedback or even feedback total has nothing to do with payout holds.
