NO VIEWS ON LISTINGS
About 10-14 days ago my view count stopped on items shared! I always get views and use the ebay share button! This has totally destroyed m sales! I feel I bring buyers to ebay so I do not see why the VIEWS are BLOCKED! anyone else seeing this?

·4 months agoAre your sales down or up (prior to this).
Did you have a few days of really good sales right before this?
I can click along about normal every day, every day. BUT, if somebody buys something big....the next few days sales will be much lower than normal.
My 30 day totals are pretty much the same every month.

Viewers view.
Watchers watch.
Buyers buy.
Are your sales off?
Time is money. Where I live the minimum wage is 29c a minute.
How much time and money have you wasted fussing when you could have been listing or sourcing or shipping?

·4 months agoWhen you ask advice about a problem, it is counter-productive to use a different account to post.
Come back using the actual account you are having problems with (since this one appears to be working normally -see Message 2 ) and we can look for signs of the actual problem.

·4 months agoI listed a few long tail items the last couple days and I have one or more views on each. I did not submit any to social media, so those are views on ebay itself. So, no, I'm not seeing zero views for all my newest listings.

·4 months ago@yasmin3220 Using the ID you are using in these posts, I just looked at the four items you listed on the 16th, so you should now have at least one view for each of those items. Is ebay reporting that in your views? (I don't know how long it takes ebay to report views, so it may be too soon to check...)

OP4 months agoI am pleased you are not seeing the same 👍

·4 months ago@yasmin3220 So, just trying to understand what exactly you are saying. If I'm understanding correctly:
You use ebay's Social Sharing Tool found in Seller Hub>Marketing, and when you check the Analytics/Social Performance Graph, you aren't seeing any views from social media (such as Facebook, etc). Is that what you are talking about?
Or am I completely misinterpreting your post?

OP4 months agono, im sharing new items listed from the listing itself.. THE SHARE BUTTON.. this usually converts to views shown on my listings! I sell in bulk so one listing may have 5-10

·4 months ago@yasmin3220 So, you are using the share button on your listing to share to social media sites, and then where is it you are looking for the view numbers? Active listings, or traffic report, or...?
my-cottage-books-and-antiques
·4 months agoAnd which social media sites are you sharing to?

·4 months ago@yasmin3220 "i have my own ebay site with 550 followers i share to on Facebook! "
OK, so when you go to that site, do you see the items you shared? Or are you saying that you click "share" but the item is not delivered to your Facebook site?

If your shared listings are showing up on your Facebook page, tell me your Facebook page and I'll go look at your most recent posts....wait a bit, and then check if my views have registered on ebay.

OP4 months agoI share just fine my items are shown on the other sites, these sites get many views that used to convert to my actual ebay listing views but not since the past 10 days .. i mean zero views NOTHING definitely a glitch ..

·4 months agoYour items look nice and are well presented, but TBH, I can't give most of those brands away. Not sure what you have in your other store, but I'm finding that a lot of formerly popular clothing brands on eBay are just dying on the vine. All good things come to an end.

·4 months agoComes down to price and demand. If you aren't getting views on items either your prices are too high for buyers or the demand for the item doesn't exist right now. Sometimes it takes awhile for 1 person becomes interested in an item let alone view it. Has nothing to do with Ebay.

OP4 months agoyour point ?

·4 months agoMy point is, your VIEWS are not BLOCKED, and this has nothing to do with your sales being "destroyed." Your slow sales are due to an annual increase in system activity experienced during this period, which has caused processing delays.

·4 months agoYou sell 1 item every 2 weeks and have a 4 and a half year sell through rate. This suggests that you are not listing items that customers want at prices that they are willing to pay. When you are listing items that people don't want or at prices they won't pay then they won't click on your listings and ebay will push your listings down in "best match" and you are 100 percent in oversaturated categories.
Also, you sold 2 items in march, 2 items in april and 2 items in may. Since May has 13 days left you are actually ahead of your usual schedule.
