What changed with Ebay in the last few months? My items are no longer being viewed which means no sales. What am I missing?

·1 year agoeBay reported 132 million active buyers on the platform in Q1 of 2024, maintaining the same number of active buyers from the previous year, still lower than the 138-142 million buyers eBay had in early 2022, but ebays revenue increased by raising fees on sellers. So less buyers and a very shaky economy in the last couple months, my views according to ebay have dropped 67% in 2 months.
People will buy my stuff in a good economy always have since I been here, people will not buy my stuff in a bad economy it's been like that since 1998, I have had to significantly lower prices and raise advertising to make any kind of sales.

Hope you make your way back. You have 31 Ended listings and only 11 Sold listings. Are you 'missing' that you needed to relist what didn't sell?
You posted, "My items are no longer being viewed...", but they can't until you get some items listed. Get it?

·1 year agoOver the past three months, you seem to make a sale about three times a month.
Is that slower than Nov 2024-Jan 2025?
Is it slower than Feb 2024-April 2024?
It's worthwhile keeping a record* of sales, from year to year, since the pattern of slow sales changes as each year wears on.
For example, my slowest period is October to December. My strongest is January (actually Boxing Day) to March. This is an unusual pattern, but has been consistent in my categories both online and B&M.
Another difference is value.
Is the number of sales consistent, but have your selling prices changed?
*I prefer paper records, but I am old and set in my ways.

·1 year agoThe new CFO will be Peggy Alford, coming back from PayPal and instead of replacing Garcia, it looks like eBay is consolidating his role by splitting it between Jordan Sweetnam who will now be Chief Commercial Officer taking on some of the product responsibilities along with his previous Global Markets role and Mazen Rawashdeh who will keep his current title of Chief Technology Officer but take on some added engineering responsibilities.
These recent changes probably explain your lack of views and sales.

I don't see any current listings
You should dump your Auction listings and go with Fixed Price, of your 90 day sales only 1 had multiple bidders.
