No Option To Opt In/Out of Best Offer on Listing?

I generally prefer to list my stuff at the price I hope to get for it and only do best offer if it's something I don't really care about and hasn't had interest in a long time or it's something where I don't know the market value. However I just added a few new listings tonight and about half are listed as usual (no best offer), but a couple did not offer me the option to toggle Best Offer On/Off at all. The feature simply was not there on the listing page. I tried to edit the listings, but no option. Out of curiously, I tried to edit the listings that did not have a forced Best Offer and they do not offer me the option to turn Best Offer on. Is this some sort of glitch or new thing they're doing? It's extremely annoying. I know offering Best Offer can encourage sales, but to my experience I more often than not get "serious" offers ridiculously under my asking price and then nasty messages from the sender when I decline. I greatly prefer to just send a lower offer at my discretion when I get watchers on a listing.

·6 days agoMine won’t give me the option to turn off the “or best offer” this is crazy people are offering 1/10 of the price that I have on thpe.

·1 week agoBest offer has been messing about for the last 36 hours, I accepted a best offer, it was the buyers first offer, when I accepted it it asked me to reason why I thought the offer was fair as if I was making a counter offer, I wasn’t, then when I accepted it it didn’t show up in awaiting payment or sold items, then 12 hours later I got an email to say it had sold, its probably another glitch on the looooong list of glitches, maybe you could try sell similar on one of the items and see if it allows the best offer function, if not bin the listing and start over.

·1 week agoOver reliance on AI the sites gone mad, ebay wasnt even available earlier this morning, great husbandry considering they have access to our credit cards bank accounts drivers licence and passports.

·1 week agoJust one other thing, dont forget if you sell internationally not all ebay sites have the best off function, yes it surprise me as well when I found out and not all sites have volume discount, but dont forget its all ebay.
