No gmail message when I have a sale.
Why has EBAY stopped notifying me when a customer makes a purchase or pays the invoice they requested. There is not a gmail message anymore only the sale on my store page. Does this bother anyone else?

·1 year agoTaking a peek a the seller hub overview page every now and then worked just fine for me. Sure get a lot of dings on my Smarter Than Me Phone each and every day that are rather annoying, don't need another 1 or two. Plus, it its illegal in our state to drive and have one hand on your cell ( aka distracted driving).

·1 year agoI would not mind so much not getting a message to my eMail account for a sale, I just wish I could get a sale. I often check eBay just incase an eMail was missed.

I would check your account notification settings just to make sure they didn't get turned off by accident. It's technology, sometimes it glitches.. Mine has actually turned off, not by me, twice.

·1 year agoI'll say it again............don't ever rely on emails to tell you anything.......Too many things can go wrong. ALWAYS check your account daily if you have listings up or even if you don't........as there can be messages, returns started, etc.

·1 year agoI still get email messages when I get sales.
There are dozens of programs, services, servers, DNS servers, routers, switches, and filters between your Gmail account and eBay's email system. It could be an issue anywhere along the line - none of which would amount to "eBay stopped send".
That being said, the first thing I would check is your communication preferences on eBay to see if something is amiss there.

·1 year agoSometimes emails land in the spam folder. Gmail often updates its system, and messages that used to appear in your main inbox can suddenly be sent to spam, marked as "suspicious." Once you mark them as safe, the emails should land in your inbox again. This happened to me recently.
Posting ID. On eBay since 2002 with over 15000 feedback.

·1 year agoMaybe it's Gmail blocking the emails?
Don't rely on emails, you should be checking your account daily.

·1 year agoHave you checked the gmail spam folder.
Sometimes gmail makes a wrong decision on whether an email is spam.
