Next Big Selling Day is Valentines Day
I am on pause for Christmas now as I figure with shipping times that ship has sailed. I have put my few Christmas items on sale for when I return on the 26th. Now will look at Valentines Day products for February. I learned a lot from you guys and look forward to growth in my second year. My goal will be to make about 150 products this this year. That is all I can handle. Merry Christmas and Hope the best for a prosperous New Year.

·9 months agoI wish I could afford to take the time off, however I need to keep selling/working all year long.

·9 months agoEvery year I noticed an increase in sales after Christmas to those who are done buying gifts for other people and (I assume) are buying for themselves.

·9 months agoI am also on "Time Away" until December 26th due to shipping delays. I sell handmade ornaments, and as @ten_o_nine mentioned, I usually sell a fair amount of Christmas ornaments after Christmas.
Best of luck to everyone for a great 2026 selling year!

·9 months agoI don't know what you sell, but keep in mind that New Year's is also coming up....people are often looking for stuff related to entertaining guests (think vintage barware, serving pieces, games, etc) , some people are planning Cruises (think Cruise wear, luggage, etc), and of course, lots of people make resolutions, so think diet, exercise, other "self improvement" stuff.

OP9 months agoMy site is on pause for now but I sell porcelain figurines. Mostly Hummels, Precious Moments, Capodimonte (Italian), Diecast Cars and others. I am small with only about 80 items.

·9 months ago@jdbelt1960 OK, given what you sell, I'm not sure New Years would have much impact. Of course, sellers with other inventory might do well by targeting some of the things I mentioned

·9 months agoGo ahead and do what you want to do if it floats your boat.
Like going to a casino - one might just get lucky
One should consider these facts also -
1. There are 5 calendar days until N. Y. Eve
2. Kiddos are still out of school & play with the new toys.
3. On the 26th it is Boxing Day in Canada and a whole lot of people will in the return lines - taking back stuff like the knitted socks from Grandma.
4. Out of town guests will still be hanging around or driving home (some long distance)
