New marketing email? Item ____ delivered. You're on the rise.... Can I turn this option off?
I have been getting a few emails from Ebay that I have never received before. Within the last two days, I am getting emails that let me know an item was delivered, and then gives me some sales totals / listing view, etc.
I do not find this useful, and I want to turn this option off, but I cannot find where. I did some poking around in preferences and cannot find it. Is this something that just started? Can I turn it off? Where? THANKS!

·7 months agoDon't know what the on site message system version looks like as we just deleted it unopened, but the email version had a "your opinion matters - rate this email"

·7 months agotheir sending me emails "view new item listed" , its my listing. DUH I know, I listed it. Plus adding I should sell another(the emails I sold an item), no I'm not going to list something from my personal email. Guess they don't want the techs sitting on their hands doing nothing.

THis gives a preference for "Item received".
Mine is unchecked, and I do not get those emails.
Perhaps this is it.

OP7 months ago@jonathanbrightlight I hadn't thought of using an email filter. I appreciate the suggestion. I will have to look into it. I just wish Ebay had a toggle switch to shut it off - much easier.
I understand that some might find that email from Ebay useful, but I do not. To me, it is digital clutter and I don't want it.
Yes, I can ignore it... but in my opinion, that type of communication should be optional and up to the seller to decide if they want it or not.

OP7 months agoNo unsubscribe in the email. There is a link to email preferences, but that takes me to where I was looking before I posted. I cannot find this specific notification to turn off.

·7 months agoYou may need to just use filters in your email app or service (Gmail has good options, I know, and most other email providers should too). I don’t know of an option within eBay to turn off just those.

·7 months agoI get this message on my phone and l find it helpful. I also like the notification that my items have been picked up. Saves me from walking though the snow to see if my mail has gone.

·7 months agoCheck if there is an Unsubscribe link in the email itself. That’s usually a good starting point.
