New listing format for Mobile is impractical.
Maybe it's just me but I have a feeling I won't be the only one who feels this way.
When I list items, I create the listing on desktop filling out everything except the photos. I then take the photos with my phone and simply click the draft on mobile, click the 'add photos' button in the listing, crop the photos and then I'm finished.
New format now only allows you to go screen by screen in the following order.
1. Click the draft you want to finish.
2. Item specifics screen (can't bypass, but the info is saved from desktop)
3. Describe item title and description (can't bypass but the info is saved from desktop)
4 Photos (finally I'm at the only section I need! Unfortunately now after cropping or adding any photo, the whole screen flashes white every time for whatever reason.)
5. Set pricing (can't bypass but info is saved from desktop)
6. Shipping options (which are NOT saved, must enter in dimensions and service EVERY LISTING now. unlike previous screens with what I wrote on desktop and I just needed to click continue, every aspect of shipping screen must be entered manually for every listing if you want the correct info.)
7. Review you listing. (THIS NEEDS TO BE SCREEN #1 for a draft.)
8. List your item (you probably think it's over now, right?)
9. Promote your listing?
10. List another item / View Listing
I can see why this would maybe be handy starting from scratch on mobile for listing an item but this is extremely impractical. Like I said above, just having step #7 be step #1 would save time.
Thoughts? Anyone else feel the same?

·8 months agoIt is not very hard to connect your phone to a USB port on your computer and access your pictures from the desktop system.
Decide which suits your style. The less I do on my phone (other than play games) the happier I am.

OP8 months agoI remember doing this years ago, going to have to buy a new cable now though usb-c usb-a to go in to my tower I suppose. Am going to miss the ease of popping open the mobile app immediately after taking pictures and having my items listed but this seems like the only viable option now. Thanks for the reply
