New account permanently suspended after first bid
I made a new account a couple days ago and today I wanted to buy a graphics card. I added my credit card and made my first bid, someone overbid me and I tried to bid again. Then the site told me that my account had a buy restriction placed on it. So I reached out to customer support about why did that happen. While in the conversation, I got an email that my account got permanently suspended. Immediately after that the guy I was talking to ended the chat. I reached out 2 more times to customer support, they hung up on me without explaining anything and told me that I can do nothing about this because my account had suspicious activity, therefore any accounts I make will be banned forever too.
I guess my main question is how does it happen that eBay can permaban me from the site without me doing anything suspicious and without explaining to me what is happening and also providing no platform for appeal. Does anyone know a solution to this?

Not sure what support format you used when you contacted eBay.
If you haven't tried the facebook, I'd recommend www.facebook.com/eBayForBusiness . They will at least be able to actually look at your account for you.

·3 years agoPost the email you got here. Black out any personal info on your account. We need to see that email to try and figure out if there is any way to help you.
