·2 years agolou,
As I also sell both DVDs and games, I read your history. One NEG was due to no tracking, but you stated in the header NO TRACKING. That might have been removable
The most recent NEG was due to it not being the specific title you stated. Predicated entirely upon your history, had I been the buyer I would have concluded you erred, as opposed to attempting to cheat anyone.

I'm always surprised when sellers who ship without tracking don't have more feedbacks and more INRs that complain about the lack of tracking!

·2 years agoIMHO It's common sense (and common courtesy) to contact the seller before leaving negative feedback.
However, common sense (and common courtesy) is not very common anymore.

·2 years agoIt is encouraged but it is not eBay policy.

·2 years agoFeedback is an outdated feature. It should no longer exist. Ignore it. There are sellers with thousands of negatives and they still do a brisk business.
Focus on selling more stuff.

·2 years agoI wish they did!! I could have very easily rectified my last neg that someone left, but no. Never given the opportunity by the buyer. Oh well. Instant block.

·2 years agoThere's no eBay requirement that a buyer contact a seller with an issue before opening a case. It would certainly be helpful for the seller.
Sometimes, however, when a buyer does contact the seller about a problem, it winds up with a lot of back and forth communication without a good result.
The seller can, if he wishes, reply to the neg FB that he received. But he really should be sure his response is calm and factual with no name-calling.
From that negative you received, it sounds like your buyer felt that what he received was not complete.
In that case, did he not open an NAD case?

·2 years agoSorry, but no, it's not eBay policy for a buyer to contact the seller before leaving feedback.
You can contact them and let them know you are sorry they are not happy with their purchase and that you are happy for them to return for a refund.
You would furnish them a return label and refund upon receiving the item back.
Then you can send a feedback revision request.

·2 years agoeBay made changes in Spring of 2022 that prompts buyers to contact the seller before leaving neg FB. While it's not a requirement to contact the seller, eBay does put a pop up in front of the buyer which is good.
I'm guessing for $2.50 your buyer didn't think it was worth the effort to contact you or file a return request and instead left neg FB then moved on.
Is the buyer's claim accurate? Your listing is a little confusing because the description says: "THIS IS S USED RESURFACED DISC TESTED AND WORKS..."
You might consider refunding the buyer, then after refunding, send a message:
Buyer,
My apologies for the mix-up. A full refund has been issued.
Is there any chance you'll consider revising the negative feedback? I can send a formal feedback revision request through eBay. Please let me know.
