Negative feedback from the buyer
I sold a watch on eBay and I shipped the parcel but the delivery of the parcel was delayed due to the courier company fault and I refunded the money to the buyer and told the buyer that if you get the watch you will refund my money and the Buyer agreed to it, but after some days, Buyer left a negative feedback, then I asked him to remove the feedback. he said If receive the watch I will delete the feedback and return the money to you. I told Buyer to buy another watch from me, but Buyer refused and told me that i will not pay for another watch you have to send me the watch if you wanted to remove the feedback.
what should i do to remove his feedback?

·2 years agoI think you have to Contact eBay support and explain the issue in detail, including the buyer's agreement to return the money and remove the feedback upon receiving the watch. Provide any communication records with the buyer. eBay may remove the negative feedback if they determine it’s unfair based on the circumstances.

Incorrect. Very seldom does eBay remove feedback due to shipping issues. Perhaps the seller shipped the item later than they were supposed to ship. The seller has to contact the buyer directly and ask for them to remove the feedback before contacting eBay customer service. eBay customer service is useless and most of the time their info is incorrect or completely false. Since you just signed on today, perhaps you should do some research about feedback & policies before posting here on this forum again. Just a suggestion.

Are you saying you refunded them, eBay did, or no one did? Please provide the answers that have been requested of you so we can help you figure out if there is anything you can reasonably do (not to remove the feedback, but to salvage the transaction).

The person whom you chose for the your best answer is incorrect. The seller must contact the buyer before CS and eBay gets involves. Most likely that was AI response and most of the time the AI responses are anything but correct. Just sayin.

The buyer didn't violate any policy. This was their experience. You should never refund until you get the item back in your possession. Was there a problem with customs? Sometimes jewelry cannot be exported to other countries. In the future you should check to see if that item can be shipped elsewhere out of your country. Sorry for your situation.

OP2 years agoif i will not refund him then ebay did

Sorry, but that feedback doesn't violate any policies, so the only way you would get that removed is if they filed and lost an Item Not Received case, which it sounds like they would have won if they did file.

OP2 years agohe did not have an item not received case open

·2 years agoIt's unlikely that eBay will remove the feedback.
Henceforth, ALWAYS have buyer return your item first, BEFORE you refund.
