NEED TO ADD SECOND SHIPPING POLICY, CAN'T GET IT DONE. HELP!

Help! Advice needed urgently!
I have been attempting to add a second shipping policy to my account and have run into the typical anti-help function that the ebay Sales Prevention Department seems to include in every one of the AI responses to my questions that I have received. I simply want to add USPS Ground Advantage, buyer pays shipping, money back guarantee, automatic free returns, and combined shipping. The AI answer tells me to use the advanced listing tool to set up my shipping options... great, except it now looks like all my new listings will show USPS Ground Advantage with no returns accepted, no free returns, no combined shipping, International shipping allowed (which I will not do). My original policy was set up years ago, but allowed only Priority Mail shipping, buyer pays, free returns, combined shipping and money back guarantee (including original shipping charge). I simply want a Ground Advantage alternative that includes everything in my Priority Mail shipping policy!
HOW CAN I HAVE TWO SHIPPING POLICIES THAT ARE IDENTICAL EXCEPT FOR THE CARRIER?

·Jul 11, 2026 at 9:11 PM@gabbyhaze Just so I understand you correctly...you already have one Business Policy setup with USPS Priority Shipping criteria only as you stated above attached to ALL your Listings. Plus you have one Business Policy for Returns as you stated above attached to ALL your Listings. Now you want to have one different Business Policy for USPS Ground Advantage Shipping criteria only. And a different Return Policy to go along with it (which has to be created separately from the Shipping Policy because it is a stand alone Return Policy). What happens when you create the Ground Advantage Shipping Policy that you want (AND NAME IT) with the Combined Shipping Rules you want reflecting NO International Shipping (you can toggle this off by the way in the Shipping Policy) unless you are talking about the eIS Banner on it?

·Jul 11, 2026 at 8:39 PMYou will have to start using the business policies tool as suggested already. It is a bit confusing at first but once you get the hang of it is really easy.
You can set up an identical policy for many scenarios. You seem to want two but you can add more later. One can be USPS Ground Advantage while the other can be UPS.
In my world I have many different policies for different types of items, weights and sizes of items, fragile items, carriers etc.....
When you get your business policies created then you need to go to your current listings and edit them to reflect which business policy you want to use. If you use the bulk editing feature then this is very easy to change as many as needed in one swoop.
As you list new items you will have to choose the business policy you want to use for each listing. I do a lot of sell similars so this information all defaults for my next new listing.

·Jul 11, 2026 at 8:10 PMAll that is 2 different worlds. You 'create' policies in your 'account settings' (hover over name top left corner, drop down, click 'account settings)
Then, scroll down to 'Business Policies'
Then' create and choose which type.
Returns is one policy- then you 'edit' and 'add' that 'policy' to whatever listings you want to (bulk edit)
Shipping is another. You create 'Each policy' seperately; then you can add 'both' policies to every item.
Combining Shipping is a whole other oprah...not in Business Policies, but in the same 'Account Settings'- click 'shipping preferences and there you can set up Combined.
