·2 years agoThere is a group called altered moments for PM - maybe take a photo and you pick 10 random to ship? If you do a search some people sell the altered ones for a lot on Ebay. They alter and repaint them so they may not care which ones they get. You may be able to find a student to help you bulk list?

Since no one wants to buy this stuff, why not donate to a local shelter for women and children?

·2 years agoAnother place to donate is nursing homes. They use them as bingo prizes and the residents love them.

·2 years agoMost resellers wouldn't even take that stuff for free. Takes forever to sell for nothing and takes up good space that could have better merchandise in it.
Donate it all to goodwill, it won't sell there and then it will go to the goodwill outlet where it also won't sell, and then it will go to the dumpster.
Or you could save the time and place them directly in the trash.

·2 years agoDonate them to your local PD. The officers like to have a toy they can give a child
under many situations.
Make an inventory, Make a list with some sort of value, Deduct it on your taxes
as a charitable contribution.
They'll be put to good use. And you'll like yourself for doing it.

Man, I see this comment so often here.
People need to know that taxpayers who take the standard deduction (the vast majority of taxpayers) cannot deduct charitable contributions.

·2 years agoThere is no market for Beanies, Precious Moments or Cabbage Patch dolls at this time. The thrift stores, antique stores and garage sales are swimming in them and no one seems to buy them. The only ones that made money from any of the items was the companies themselves until they got greedy and over produced them.

Agree with you on the beanies and Precious Moments. But I actually sold 3 Cabbage Patch dolls last month

·2 years agoI donated all my beanie babies to my sons school.
Teachers used them; the bus drivers loved them...they were incentives to well behaved kids on the bus.
Not worth the time selling mine, or anyone else's

·2 years agoI have three complete sets of those McDonald's Beanies ( Britannia, Erin, Maple and Glory) in my booth at the antique mall. They are priced at $4.00 for the set of four and they just sit there. Nobody wants Beanies anymore.
Those ridiculous listings are usually made on a new account and the bidder/buyer has 0 feedback. You can bet that they bid/buy but don't pay. It's all a game for them.

I'd seriously doubt you'll find a dedicated seller who has time for it either... especially when beanie babies are fetching $1.00 each on a good day. There's zero to gain and everything to lose for a seller to take on someone else's inventory on this site. Anyone seriously considering it would want a huge percentage of the profits because it's their butt hanging in the breeze in every respect.

You should advertise locally. On FB or CL. Unless you are willing to take responsibility for taxes, seller fees, returns, shipping, supplies, CC chargebacks & possible fraudulent transactions, not to mention paying out a hefty fee to that seller, I doubt you'll get any bites here on this forum.

No one will take on that responsibility especially for worthless beanie babies.
I'm a seller, I wouldn't want the responsibility of handling your items, taking pictures, dealing with returns and chargebacks and filing taxes on that stuff at the end of the year.
eBay did away with trading assistant because of all the hassles involved.
Sell them yourself, have a yard sale or donate.
