Need A Refund Fix
Summary: stevessportsfinds initially faced an issue with canceling a refund request and returning an item and sought help on the forum. mtgraves7984 suggested that the buyer needed to close the return request themselves after consulting with @onlinecentral. Following this advice, the buyer was able to successfully cancel the refund request and notify stevessportsfinds via email. stevessportsfinds thanked the forum for their assistance.
Buyer initialed a return then emailed me afterwards. After trading emails and helping him, he got it working and wanted to keep it. Neither of us know how to cancel his refund request and him returning the item.
Any help appreciated.

@stevessportsfinds
It's on the buyer. I agree with @onlinecentral to have him/her close the Return. Good luck.

OP5 months agoThe buyer did do the process to cancel his refund/and return. He used @onlinecentral suggested and closed it. Then sent an email to let me know and that everything was good. Thanks for the help here on the forum, once again.

·5 months agoAsk the buyer to look at the return case. There is a button the buyer can click to close the Return Case.
Otherwise, you can both do nothing and let the case time out. The case will close in the seller's favor in 19 days if the return label never gets a scan. The payment hold will be released.
If the package already has a scan, there is no way to cancel the case. You will have to refund. Then the buyer will hopefully reimburse you through Paypal or another payment method.
