My Second Chance Offer is suddenly visible to EVERYONE???

After much battling through the site problems here today, I was able to log in and send a bidder a Second Chance Offer on a speedometer head that he did not win last week. I send out SCOs all the time using the correct link in the Bid History page of the auction, and it's strictly routine for me, but when browsing in my buying account, I was slightly amazed to see my SCO listing pop up in plain sight. Please tell me if you (any of you) can view this as well:

My buying account isn't supposed to be able to see that listing. Heck, no one is supposed to be able to see that listing except the guy that I sent it to using the Second Chance Offer procedure. Seems like the comedy of errors is continuing here.
P.S. If you are able to see the listing above, please mark it for watching, which will prove on the record that it is indeed visible to more than one person. I have the standard SCO confirmation message in my email so I know that I sent it out properly; it's not supposed to be splattered all over and visible to all. As of this moment, it's had 13 views and one watcher. (Not sure if that watcher is the intended recipient.)

I believe that is actually a correct interpretation of the events that have transpired?

·3 months agoThis is happening to me. That offer is to one person. It shouldn't be visible to anyone. It could affect on how people bid in the future.
Plus I keep having explain to people that I don't have a special pre approved list. I think it makes sellers look bad.

·3 months agoThis just happened to me yesterday. Of course, it had to be Pokemon. The listing got almost 1000 views and 100 watchers in the 24 hours and my email inbox exploded. Why can't I get this kind of activity on the rest of the stuff I am trying to sell?

OP2 months agoIt's not a good thing. It looks like another unintended side-effect of an attempted revision that didn't go as planned.
I sent out two Second Chance Offers this evening, and in just the past hour have received the first message from someone (not the intended recipient of the SCO) who wants to know why I am listing an item but not allowing him to buy it.

·3 months agoI also see this when I send a second chance offer on an auction. This is why I may not send many because if I sell something in an auction for a high price and have another and send the offer out I'm concerned that the original winner may see it and may think it's not as rare as they think since I have more and may want to return it.

·4 months agoSAME PROBLEM. Just got a question from a buyer asking why they were being asked to be pre-approved to buy an item I listed. I said I HAVE NO IDEA! Turns out they were trying to buy an item that was a second chance offer to another buyer. THEY HAD NOT EVEN BID ON THE ITEM. **bleep**?
So the ENTIRE SITE can view my private second chance offers? ... This is so pathetic.

OP4 months agoThank you all! At this moment this Second Chance Offer is up to 31 hits and 4 watchers. 😄 At least the actual purchasing ability looks to be limited to my SCO recipient alone... I hope... although I haven't heard anything from him either...
He's a good regular customer of mine, but at this point I can't tell for sure whether he even got the SCO in the first place. Oh, well, life goes on.
