My listing with NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING sold internationally
Hello all. I had a listing with flat rate US shipping. No international.
Well my listing just ended and now Im expected to send the item to Sweden. How did this happen?
I'm expected to eat all the additional shipping costs now?
Please help.

·3 years agoFreight forwarders are the second* safest addresses you can ship to.
Most of the Money Back Guarantee ends at delivery to the forwarder. After that, the FF is responsible.
And most forwarders also handle customs and sales tax(VAT) for their customers, ending the 'customs delay' scam.
Even with a Not As Described dispute, eBay confirms that the seller need provide only return shipping from the forwarder's address.
*The safest is a mail box, preferably postal, but even Mailboxes'r' Us, since the renter has to present either ID or his key to access the shipment.

·3 years agoThis also happened to me but I discovered eBay actually enrolled ALL sellers in their new international shipping program without even getting our specific approval. And it’s incorrect that it doesn’t affect the seller! Their new international
shipping program overrides a seller’s no return policy. So if you don’t want to have your stuff shipped overseas then suddenly discover your final sale policy flew out the window then better go through the complicated “opt out†process and hope they actually opt you out or find a new online venue.
