Did you ship these to an eBay authenticator? If you did, I would have shipped with signature required.
Did you purchase the label on eBay?
Did you ever look at the buyer's profile, location, and all feedback?
Your other comment would make me worry: Not so funny thing is 2 purchases from two totally different people and one . A third person has been harassing's me and told me to ship to different address, different name.
You might want to contact eBay through facebook and / or go to the post office and have these two shipments recalled if still time.
Overall, what does tracking show on the shipper's website that you used? It will be most current than what eBay shows. Would it possibly say 'undeliverable?

One has contacted me to send to colorado where original hack was from . Waiting for response from other, yet I think one in the same
not shoes, as so many are commenting about
I want to send direct to real address. Ebay is set up so that purchaser gets support and seller very little

·2 years agoObviously you should not change the address and ship to Colorado. If the buyer is in Colorado you ship to authenticator and authenticator ships to buyer in CO.
You get more protection when the item goes through the Authenticity Guarantee process.
You will lose all seller protections if you change the address and ship direct. Sellers have no control over which items qualify for AG. eBay makes that decision and if they say ship to authenticator, that's where you ship.
AG appears when you post your listings and if you prefer to not use that program, you can take down those listings.

Once a seller has paid for a purchase it is the seller's obligation to ship it.
That said I always use the label that I can purchase from within ebay itself, and if ebay sees no errors with it then I pay and print it and stick it on the package and off it goes.
No, I do not google addresses playing detective because I am nervous there may be a scammer on the other end, because that is not my obligation as a seller.
Failure to ship those items to your buyer will result in ebay taking action against your seller account.
Cancelling those purchases for reason "problem with buyer's address" can also result in ebay taking action against your seller account (especially if there is no problem with the address).
So, if you can buy the label through ebay you should go ahead and ship the item or perhaps realize that selling on ebay maybe isn't for you.

·2 years agoYou’ve sold 2 things that have the authenticity guarantee on the listings. One card sold in January and one sold the other day. It makes sense that they both went or are going to the same authenticator at the same address.

·2 years agoIf you gave the type of item and the city we could probably confirm that is one of the specific Autenticators that eBay uses.
If I googled every buyer address I'm sure I've shipped to lots of empty lots, there is a friend I visit out in the far burbs, I pass by a large empty lot (by large I mean 20 - 30 acres), in the space of just 3 - 4 months it went from having a small development sign to being a nearly completed industrial park, it's not on a main road so it could be 5 years before it shows up on Google Street View, Sat images are already pretty high rez so those probably won't change for a year or two at best.

·2 years agoSneakers are authenticed in Las Vegas and New York before going to the buyer.
Me living in Las Vegas for many years it could be an empty office space...which shows as empty but isn't.

·2 years ago@12345jamesstamps There's also one in/around Moonachie, NJ. Mostly they seem to handle designer handbags and streetwear there, but I've seen some sneakers going there as well, especially if they are luxury brands like Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton, etc.

I was looking for a co-op workspace last week which was advertising a Vintage Clothing show on FB and in the local newspaper, and the address showed a Chinese restaurant and an empty warehouse dated 2021 at the searched address. And an empty lot across the street where there is now a partially built apartment project.

If I don't like either, I will review the buyer's profile and all feedback, and will probably ship with signature required if I decide to move on with the sale.

OP2 years agoYes, in 25 years, never sent to authenticator, now 2 separate buyers from two of my sites going to Sarasota Florida for authentication. These were not sneakers as over half of "string" is taking about.

I've read through and don't understand what your specific question is. Are you asking if the address is legit? Are you asking why your cards were put in to the Authenticity Guarantee program?

·2 years agoThey could be going "freight forward" to another country...
Check "payments' ..."see fee details"...and if there was an extra International fee charged besides domestic it means it was an International Credit Card used and buyer might be from another country.
And that could be interesting....

So two buyers, from two different sites win same day and each name is different buy same address

·2 years agoHmmm....shipping hubs are in Glendale Heights and Carol Stream in Illinois near Chicago.
Trading cards are authenticed by a third party before going to the buyer...whether CGC ungraded or PSA graded...and don't have an address of that...but you do assuming you googled the address.
Your cards are not going direct to the buyers...I assume you know that...correct?
They go to a place to be authenticated and then to the buyer.

Morgan are you referring to the authenticator and you googled the Addy? I would think for security reasons that office is going to show empty instead of shouting out to the world that they handle authentication of high priced sports merchandise.

·2 years agoMorgan, being rude to fellow posters is not helpful. We are trying to explain to you that Ebay hires a 3rd party authentication team for sneakers, cards, jewelry, purses and these authenticators rent out office space in which items are sent to.
Ebay should cover your back, if your items fail they will be returned to you. If they pass then they are sent to buyer.

Like others that have replied, sometimes google is not always current. Another thing that @silverstatetreasureboxes mentioned is that these authentication hubs contain millions of dollars of high end sports cards, shoes, purses and jewelry. For that reason eBay may not want to divulge that info. One more thing, if the customer asked you to ship to another address, don't do it. Ship only to the address on the invoice. Just some advice.

·2 years agoI know being 'cryptic' might be a cool thing- but unless you give us the address (without buyers name/user name) nobody can help you....
But know this: These 'buildings' were just RECENTLY leased so if you are 'googling' addresses, the 'pictures shown are usually 8 months to 3 years BEHIND what is reality today.
