My eBay Account Was Permanently Restricted – Seeking Guidance
On October 05, 2024, I received an email from eBay stating that my account had been restricted due to an MC011 violation. I promptly submitted all the necessary documents—100% authentic invoices, company registration details, and payment proofs. Despite this, eBay permanently restricted my account, on 24 oct 2024, stating that I pose a risk to the community, which I strongly believe is unjustified.
About My Business
I run a legitimate, registered company in Europe and have been selling on eBay for almost a year without any major issues. My products are custom-designed, handmade leather boots, which I manufacture through a trusted partner.
• Selling History: Over the past year, I have maintained a good track record, with more than 60+ positive feedback, only one negative review, and one case opened.
• Authenticity: All my listings used original images and featured unique designs created by me.
Despite this, eBay refused to reinstate my account after reviewing my documents. I have tried reaching out multiple times via email, but I have received no response so far.
Seeking Help
I am sharing my experience here in hopes that someone in the community can offer guidance or advice on what steps I can take next. Has anyone faced a similar issue and successfully appealed their restriction? Are there any alternative ways to escalate this matter?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

·1 year agoWe have had a lot of International sellers come here seeking help because of the same reasons. Unfortunately Ebay is the only one that can help you. None of us here have the power to change anything for you.
From what I've seen on the threads over the last couple of years, it is really hard to be in your position. I personally have not chatted with anyone that has gotten this reversed. I do sincerely hope you find a way to work with this. I wish you nothing but Good luck.

On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.
I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

·1 year agoKeep in mind time differences. Much of Ebay is in Pacific Standard time. Not all but a lot of it is. So it could be the time you are trying staffing is low.
