My eBay account has been restricted from selling
Hello Friends,
I have a small problem, selling is restricted on my ebay account today. As far as I know, I have not done anything wrong, I had listed some items and it has been 16 days since I listed the first item.
My first item was sold today ($ 299.99). It was bought by a buyer from South Africa, but he later sent me a request to cancel the order. Exactly one minute later, I received an email from eBay saying that my account has been restricted from selling.
A Few minutes later, the buyer sent an email and said. "Don't cansel the order. he needs the item" . Buyer's Message " PLEASE PROCEED WITH ORDER AS IT WAS CANCELLED IN ERROR.
THANKS KENNETH" .
When I contacted the cusomer support. they said that selling is not possible. but buying is possible .
My ebay account is business ebay account .
Please help me , get back my account ,

·3 years agoYou are in Sri Lanka. Did you set up your account correctly? Are you drop shipping ? If yes, that is why you were suspended from selling. You can not drop ship.

·3 years agoHi, drop shipping is allowed. Traditional drop shipping from a wholesale supplier, i mean. Retail arbitrage is not allowed. See link below for the eBay policy on drop shipping.

·3 years agoSince you cannot fulfill the order, let the buyer know.
It is difficult to determine why you have lost your selling privileges on eBay, in order to advise you. Looking at your listings, i see a few red flags. One being that your profile states you are in Sri Lanka, while your listings state you are in Milano, Italy. Item Location misrepresentation can get a seller in trouble.
Another is the listing for the 32 GB tablet with a fixed price of $5.00 with free shipping and returns. Here on the forum we have seen that selling new items for drastically under retail, particularly as a new seller, can get a user suspended.
The only other issue i noted is that your photos don’t meet the Picture policy (text cannot appear in the shot), but that is hardly likely to cause a suspension, particularly since so many sellers violate that rule.
What does your message from eBay say? Does it say anything about providing documents or give next steps to take? Or have you been “indefinitely restricted� Any info you can provide may help us help you.

What should I do for that? Even though my account is in Sri Lanka, Can't I sell items from my shop in Italy ? I'm currently living in Sri Lanka.
The item in my shop in Italy cannot be sold to the international community through ebay. what should I do now?

Sell items from Sri Lanka. Items that are actually from SL and do not violate Ebay or customs policies. Was your account restored?

·3 years ago@best.12345 I am so sorry to say that “Indefinitely restricted†is eBay-speak for a permanent selling suspension. You can remain a buyer, but your selling privileges have been universally revoked with no avenue for appeal. You are done on eBay.

Unfortunately no one here can help you. You will have to contact Ebay customer service in your country. It looks as you were drop shipping from Italy. Either the item you were selling was deemed unauthentic or your were drop shipping from a retailer, which means the item wasn't actually coming from Italy, most likely China. Item location misrepresentation is being untruthful to the customer. That is a huge violation on ebay and I doubt Ebay will restore your account. You can't sell one Ebay if you don't follow the rules. Sorry.

·3 years agoFirst,no one here can help with your account.......you will have to appeal to Ebay........
Your account shows Sri Lanka location, your sold item shows item location in Milan Italy and you are using a brand name in the US as your ebay name. ( best.buy. electronics)...........
