Multiple sports card listing possibility
I know I can put in a list of sports cards based on name or type (Michael Jordan or 1991 Score). What I am wondering is can I list several cards based solely on year and sports type: e.g. 1991 Baseball Cards? It would be filled with various baseball cards from the year 1991 (some topps, score, upper deck, etc.).
Just want to make sure I am not violating any rules.
Thanks

OP4 months agoThanks for information, however, I was just asking about the way to do a variation of cards. The example of 1991 baseball was given because that what was in front of me.
Thanks again.

·4 months agoYou aren't breaking any rules, just completely wasting your time. Those junk wax era singles usually ship out at a loss and you are competing against hundreds of other clueless sports card sellers who think this is a good use of their time.
A quick search of 1991 Topps under $2 shows 260,000 listed. 26,000 sold. That is a 30 month sell through rate to sell a card that you are at most going to clear 40 cents on after fees.

·4 months agoThe mass listing of cards with zero margin in so common that most card sellers never question it, they just copy the other sellers and do it. The card store I used to work at was doing it when I got hired to run their ebay. I shut it down really quick simply by timing our fastest card shipper and showing the boss the numbers. He literally could not ship those 40 cent margin orders fast enough to cover his own $10 an hour salary, much less photographing, listing and filing. They quickly went up to $3 plus shipping minimum and then later $5.
