Multiple quantity discount on a listing for one item?
Sorry, I'm on a posting binge. Last one today.
It's a listing for one item.
It's not a multiple quantity listing and this is the last one left. That I could understand.
Why would ebay allow that?

I'm just wondering why ebay would allow a seller to offer quantity discounts on a item that there is only one of.

·2 weeks agoIt is because eBay and the seller want the buyer to browse the seller's other inventory eligible for a bundle discount and find more items that they want to buy. It is about creating a bundle of items and receiving the discount, not necessarily buying 4 of the same item, which would be a Volume discount.

·2 weeks ago@inhawaii That type of discount is for ALL listings that the seller has for sale; not just that 'one' listing.

·2 weeks agoA few weeks back I received a notice that I could opt into these multi order discounts. It was on my sellers page. I opted in. It also gave the option to not allow some items. What I had found strange was some of the eBay motor tools I sell are not all included which is fine by me.
Is it possible you opted into this by mistake?

·2 weeks ago · Edited@inhawaii eBay has been rolling out this feature over the past month. I only see it in the app, and that's how I enabled it. You can opt-out. From the app, go to selling, scroll down until you see "Bundles." Click there and turn off the blue toggle button.
I like it. It is a great way to encourage someone to buy more than one item when you don't have many multiquantity listings and have a variety of merchendise.

·2 weeks agoI found bundle discounts on my Active listing page in Seller Hub. Under Actions, click the three-dot menu, then scroll down to the last choice, Add or review discounts, and click it.

·2 weeks ago@mcdougle4248 I should have clarified. I have it, but it isn't active for me in Seller Hub. I made a post about it a few weeks ago when I happened to run across it. The bundle option is grayed out for me on the website, no matter which way I try to get to it (You can also get to it through account settings). It was available to me in the app though, so I started using it. I've already had a couple of people take advantage.

·2 weeks agoIt looks like the seller has bundled discounts enabled. The seller wants you to have a discount if you purchase more items that are also included in the discount.

I think the OP is the seller and has sold all but the last one. Yet the quantity discount is still showing.

·2 weeks agoOh, I thought he was referring to another seller's items. If @inhawaii opted in to bundle discounts, that banner is what he would see on his own listings, too. The bundle discount is applied to seller-selected inventory, even listings with a quantity of 1. The goal is to get buyers to browse (and buy) from other listings also included in the bundle discount, not necessarily buying multiples of the same item from only one listing
I am going to try bundle discounts as soon as my current sale ends. I use bundle discounts on another platform I sell on, and it works very well for me.
