most reading this post are single sellers. YOU ARE EBAY. some may have a partner or family selling but most are individuals.does this sound like you?you have tons of stuff, you know how it is, no way can you sell it as fast as you can buy it especially when buying large lots or buying out an estate etc...there you are high atop your kingdom. all is good until....two cases in point.case # 1my wife & i each sell. she was diagnosed with cancer & has been in the fight 2 years. let's see? what's more important, cancer? or selling a bakelite rhinestone studded spaghetti colander (you know someone's searching for that right now).she stopped selling & i can only sell a few of her items because i have enough of my own. i just can't handle my work load + hers + cancer care. so her stuff just sits.case # 2: like yourself we have friends who sell on ebay. one just dumps his stuff in bins in the basement ( BAD IDEA). if he died today as a lone seller whose wife has NO INTEREST IN THIS JUNK (her quote) his stash would be hitting her yard sale & dumped at the thrift store.this is not uncommon in business. if i.e. you're a contractor, no employees, just you & you are forced to stop with no one to replace you, you're business quickly folds. that must be multiplied on ebay by the gazabazillions world wide because most had no contingency plan.we didn't & now we wait until my wife can start listing & the reality is maybe she doesn't.one thing i can tell you, your life is greater than ebay.
