Put the link on facebook to this store here. This way, you can also run ads on Facebook with the link here. I put products there all the time for new products and also do videos introducing new items. My friends love them and my sales increase too. I share the link on my personal Twitter account too, our website (which is just a doorway to this) and we have a Pinterest page. You can advertise on all of them. I just started using Insta too.
Was that question to me about categories? My items are buried under like Collectibles - Religion & Spirituality - Christianity - and then the sub-categories like statues, pictures, jewelry, etc.
Just wondering if you have a social media presence? If you do, put links to the items that you have on here for people to purchase them. I do that with Facebook and it helps.
Yes...Good thought...so do you use 2 categories or just 1?
Just tagging on here, sometimes i will use two categories to broaden my reach to buyers. It costs a little more, but the benefit is that more eyes will (hopefully) be on my listing. You just need to do your research to see if it is cost-effective for the kinds of items you are selling.
Sometimes i need that second category because my item has strong interest to two different groups of buyers who may use alternate Search terms from each other. I want to reach as many shoppers as possible, and two categories can sometimes accomplish this.

Some of your watchers could be competitors too. Just a thought. I do that on occasion because Terepeak is just awful for my type of products. We are buried under Collectibles.
Maybe I do not have the correct items for sale...but thought I should have more click thru or lookers.
Nothing wrong with your items! Try improving your photos - they're dark and many are fuzzy so I think it's a lighting issue. I understand the struggle - I live in the woods in a dark climate and have struggled with photos the entire time I've sold here, but you need to be noticed amongst the other 1.5 billion listings on here. The antique child's umbrella is an excellent photo and setup...only it's TINY. But that kind of clear lighting is what you want (with larger photos).
Hi, i took a look at your listings to see if there was a way to increase traffic to your items. In doing so, it is easy to see that you have made a solid effort with nice pictures, buyer-friendly terms, and good detail. There was one area i thought could use some tweaking, the titles. I think you could have even more descriptors to bring in more eyes.
Dropping words not usually used by shoppers when searching, could free up some space for more keywords. Words like “very nice†or “copyright†could safely be removed without detracting from the listing, to be replaced with pertinent information.
For example, currently one title reads, “100 YEAR OLD HAT WITH ROSETTE VERY NICE†could instead include color, style, material, embellishments, and the like, to fill out all spaces available to use. Something along the lines of “Antique Crocheted Cloche Beanie Hat Rosette Striped Pink Woolen†puts more meat on the bone.
Even though you have included some of those keywords in the listing’s Item Specifics, repeating them in each section of the listing helps boost SEO. It may seem redundant, but each area serves the whole. Along with one’s photos, the title draws them in and encourages buyers to click on the thumbnail.
You could also drop some punctuation from the titles to improve SEO. In some cases, punctuation can actually interfere with optimization. In addition typos or misspellings can cause a high bounce rate and negatively effect listing placement in Search results. I noted a couple of typos: “brochere†and “cardinganâ€.
Anyhow, probably not saying much you don’t already know, but thought i’d mention these notes. Good luck, and hope your views improve.
Thanks....Taking all you said to heart.....AND will try to improve...(The spelling 'thing' should not have happened....I had to chuckle....will correct!) Have had a brick and mortar store here in Montana for many, many years and wanted to improve my on-line skills...Thanks sooo much for taking time....!!

·3 years agoOr if they want to buy it, they'll throw it in their watch list and wait for you to send them an offer. Cause reasonable pricing isn't enough anymore.

·3 years agoA while back eBay stopped recording Views from search engines and from bots, including their own bots.
At the same time they stopped leaving Views up indefinitely, and went to a 30 day survey.
So any views you see today are probably from human beings in the past month.
That being said, anyone who Views your Fixed Price listing decided not to buy it.
Ditto with Watchers.
If they wanted it, they would have purchased.
