Monthly selling limit affected by fraud buyers and a non sold item...
Hello Everyone, I'm a New seller here (for about two months now) and I have questions only about the selling limits' remaining value/available value, disregarding the "quantity" because my items are quite expensive.
So, I've had two items that were purchased and "counted as sold" but never "actually " sold.
The first is by someone who didn't pay, and the second is by a fraudulent buyer.
On both occasions, this affected my remaining selling limits' value. What was previously available to me (the ability to list more) decreased even further by adding to the value of relisting those same items. I had to compromise by changing prices, ending a listing or two, and waiting until it restarted again until the following month.
I understand that selling limits are based upon both "listed" and "sold". But what about the listings of items that were never really sold? ya know? You figure it would change back after "confirming" that it didn't actually sell so that you could relist "without" making any edits to your other listings or removing them, but no. It turns into an either/or dilemma.
I'm frustrated because I've got tons of other stuff that I'd like to sell (that'll definitely reach the month's limit) but if this happens again, I'm pretty much screwed. In the end, does it just stand as "A list is a list, despite anything that happens."?
So, my final question is, "Is there any way to redeem this?"...
Any help is appreciated >.<

·3 years agoIt is what it is. Follow what Jimmy said for best results.
An FYI those stars and letter you have at the beginning of each listing title is doing no good at all and may be hurting you in search. "Usually" the first 5 words of you title is what AI uses for search.

OP3 years agoYea, that kinda does suck for it being this way. And I will do that.
I appreciate your advice as well. I've been curious as to why the views are low and slow lol
I'll change it up and see what happens. Thank you, Kennedy 🙂

·3 years agoI think that is just the way it is. It certainly was the last time I opened a secondary account that started with low limits.
I looked at your solds so I see the issues, for most new sellers it's the number of listings rather than the dollar amount.
You need to make sure that every 30 days (no earlier) if eBay does not auto increase your limits then request an increase. One problem you may have is the small number of transactions, if you could find some more moderate cost items with wide appeal, having more sales completed would probably help to get an increase faster.

OP3 years agoDang, what a bummer lol... Hope this issue gets addressed and fixed one day.
Anyways, I appreciate the advice, Jimmy!
I'll give it more time and adjust if need be. Thank you again 🙂
