Money On Hold?

Not the normal money on hold question. I have one sale where the money is on hold for delivery. I've never had one of these. Why would they have a hold on one sale? Is it Ebay or the buyer? I've never had this happen before. Trying to find info on this site is like pulling teeth. It just says on hold until delivered. I've been receiving my payments every week for the last 3 or 4 years. Also got paid this week. All but that sale. Not a new seller. Any help would be appreciated. I'm not worried about the money. Just curious as to why all of a sudden just one order gets put on hold. Thanks

They exist and there is a reason for them.

·2 weeks agoI am a new seller, started Aug 20th. I have thousands sitting that I cannot touch.. I cant find any excuse why ebay is putting me through a "verification check" when they havent asked me a single thing to verify...

·2 weeks agoAlso sometimes you won't be able to identify a reason because it is a random security check. When PayPal was our money processor, they did them all the time.
If it takes more than a few days, contact Ebay and ask to have the funds released. That will often work.

·2 weeks agoAgreed. @umccars , if you could tell us which listing, someone here might be able to suggest something they see that might have triggered it, but it could also be something about the buyer's account or details and not yours.

OP2 weeks agoIt's the special listing for a buyer where I combined 2 items. I combined 2 Hot Wheels listings for 10 cars onto 1 for 20 cars. Only$110. Not even close to my largest sale........ Alrighty, I went to find you an item number and just happened to look and my money was released this afternoon as soon as the package was delivered. That is what it said when I tried to find out why. I'm still curious as to why, after all my orders being delivered, they would flag that one. I really appreciate everyone's help. Again, still curious. Thanks to all.
